Your personal email address
Your email address is needed in order to verify you as a legitimate member. Without being able to verify your email address, we'd just end up with a bunch of bogus email addresses. When we say "verify", this means that you will receive an email from PictureShare.net asking you to click on a link that will confirm you as a legitimate member. If this email is not received by you and you do not confirm your account, the account is deactivated after a period of 48 hours.

Account Name:
It is recommended that you enter an account name that is easy to remember. Your account name will be your PictureShare.net email address name. For instance, if you select the account name Joe_Smith then your PictureShare.net email address will be Joe_Smith@pictureshare.net. When asked to sign in on either the web site or from within the Wallpaper Manager software, you do not need to enter the @pictureshare.net extension, it is assumed. You will be notified if the account name you have selected is already in use.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You can only have one account name per email address. Each PictureShare.net account name will require its own email address.

Password:
The password protects your privacy from anyone else accessing your account options or from viewing images meant exclusively for your viewing. You are asked to re-enter your password to confirm that you entered it correctly the first time. You can change your password at any time be accessing your Account Options from this web site.
